This is a really interesting

This is a really interesting study and I am currently writing a dissertation on a similar subject. I believe as a teacher it is important to ensure that music education in schools begins with the music which the children know. We must eradicate elitism in music and show children that each one of them can contribute to the world of music whether it is by playing the violin or spinning records. I totally agree that music education begins with learning to listen, from this point we can encourage the children to generate questions which will lead to a deeper interest in music.
