I'm a PhD student at UC Berkeley's School of Information. I study the social and human factors that inform the design of computer enabled interfaces and experiences. I am currently running the Coming of Age in a Digital New York project. Previously, I ran the Media Practices in Rural Landscapes project and contributed to the Unexpected Collaborations: The Dynamics of Co-Located Creativity with Digital Tools project. Before attending graduate school, I produced interactive experiences for Jan Krukowski & Company, a New York City agency specializing in the education and not-for-profit sectors. I received my B.A. from Bowdoin College in 2000.
